Looking ahead

There is so much I'm looking forward to!!!! 

First up, tonight Steve and I are going on a date!  We are going for sushi and a movie.  I'm an easy-pleaser and am really excited about this. 

Next Wednesday we are flying out to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina for some fun in the sun with the family.  It's going to be so nice to relax, golf and go to the beach.  My parents just bought a timeshare there so it's the start of a tradition.

Janet booked our rehearsal dinner location this week and I'm so pumped about that.  We will be at a brewery!  How perfect is that?  Steve and I have had lunch there before so I already know the atmosphere and food is right. 

The rehearsal and wedding will be amazing...we picked the best people to lift us up the day we tie the knot and we are so blessed with our parents to help us have everything and more on our day.  I'd like to say I can't wait but these few months are time I need!  It's going to fly by but it makes me feel good that I still have some time to get things done.

We've been putting together our music playlist for the reception.  This week, we picked out pictures to use in our slideshow at the cocktail hour.  That was fun!  Steve was such a cute little boy and Janet did such an awesome job documenting his childhood.  She has like 10 albums filled with Steve.  She's such a great Mom!  I'm excited to show everyone our childhood memories. 

It's real easy to get caught up in the wedding but I'm really looking forward to having Steve as my husband.  It's very daunting to me to think that it's forever but when I step back and think about it, really that's exactly what I want.  He's the one I want to be with everyday and there's nothing daunting about that!

There are people whom one loves immediately and forever. Even to know they are alive in the world with one is quite enough.
